We include the Matriarchs when mentioning the Patriarchs. However, the references to the Matriarchs are in a distinct font and easy to skip for those who so prefer.

Inclusive or Gender-Sensitive

We do not assume that God is male, and we generally avoid using masculine pronouns to refer to God.
